last day of 2nd grade; last day of pre-k; last day at law office/day job; 20 yr anniversary of film school graduation; rejection from film festival that cut like battery acid; last time 8 brothers & sisters could all be assembled; last breaths of friend’s dog; last breaths of friend’s cat; reminders of constant chaos; endless unsolveable leak coming up through the foundation; start of new project; start of new year around the sun; start of removing obstacles; start of starting over; start of restarting the clarion bleat don’t-give-up; start of this time is different; start of this project is different; start of this time they’ll see; start of you are still not at the starting line.
