upper klamath lake
taken near klamath falls, oregon. my father-in-law died on this morning, a few hours previous to this photo being taken (from the passenger seat of our moving car.) we had a family trip to yosemite planned for the 4 of us and were headed out the door when the call came. It was expected and a shock all at once. his love for yosemite helped us make the decision to go on the trip rather than cancel it, at once a supplication and a means of processing, especially for margaret. This is roughly 17 miles from the CA border. we stayed at a hotel this night and made it to yosemite the next day, his spirit with us at every turn.
